Club Officers
The Augustana International
Relations Union currently has three Executive Board positions. The
Conference Chair's duties include those associated with the conferences we
attend throughout the year. The Social/Campus Chair's duties include
those of organizing events on campus, events within the group (such as group
dinners and outings), and representing the club around campus. The
Secretary/Treasurer is in charge of the finances of the organization, as well
as fund-raising. The 2006-2007 Executive Board for IRU is:
President-Josh Lyphout
Josh
Lyphout is a Senior from East Moline, IL. His majors include Pre-Medicine/Biology with a minor in
Biochemistry. He currently plans to attend a medical school where he
wishes to eventually become a member of “Doctors-without-Borders”. One
day, Josh would like to participate in national politics. He doesn't have
just one favorite memory, because they are all so special. However, he
does love the memories he has from the conferences in Washington, DC.

Vice-President: Carly Sartwell
Carly
Sartwell is Senior from St. Joseph, IL. She is an English major and her minors include Art
History and Political Science. She would like to attend a law school and/or
try a public relations career. She's not sure what her favorite
experience of the club is, but she does enjoy learning about so many
countries.

Secretary/Treasurer: Ashley booth
Ashley Booth is from Crystal
Lake, IL and is
currently pursuing a double major in English and History and a minor in
Classics. While she knows she wants to spend the rest of her life writing, she
is not sure what she will be doing after college. When she is not found with a
cup of tea and book, she is usually at the animal shelter or partaking in her
favorite sport of napping.
