Art & Literary Magazine

There are three ways to get involved in SAGA:

 Selection

Join a creative board (art, poetry, prose) and help coordinate content by critiquing submissions and selecting works for inclusion in Saga.

 Editing

Develop your technical expertise by becoming a technical editor or copyediting the magazine. Technical editor requires some experience in graphic design and layout programs as well as an eye for design or experience in print publishing. Copyeditors should have solid knowledge of grammar and style and demonstrate accuracy in finding grammatical and formatting errors.

 Marketing

Expand your marketing experience by helping publicize the magazine, coordinating the release party and other events, and participating in fundraising efforts.

To join the Saga staff, attend the informational meeting held at the beginning of each year, or send an e-mail to sagamagazine@gmail.com.

Editors and managers are selected by the Editor-in-chief at the beginning of each year, and may share or split duties across the two yearly issues. Saga's Editor-in-Chief is selected at the end of each year by a board convened by advisor Dr. Rebecca Wee; applications are available in the English Department Office in May of each year.
