Chris Salazar – Founder & President
Chris Salazar is a junior Accounting and Finance major who has decided to
transform his passion for real estate investing into a club for others to be inspired as
well. On campus, Chris serves as the Treasurer of Phi Omega Phi and he plays on the
varsity football team. This summer, he was an intern at Prudential Financial as well
as attended a few leadership summits for accounting firms in downtown Chicago.
With the help of the REI club, Chris's vision was to give others a vehicle to learn
how to earn passive income through real estate investing as well as give students
a chance to network with established investors. His goal is to connect with people
with similar passions and help grow Augustana College students through subjects
not taught in the classroom.

Caleb Nickels - Treasurer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Caleb Nickels decided to make the
move to the Midwest and attend Augustana College. As a Business Marketing and
Management student and a Communication Studies minor, Caleb sought to find a
career that could blend the knowledge and skills gained from my studies with my
desire to help others.
An innovative marketer and versatile communicator and networker, the real estate
market provided him the perfect transition for life after college. Understanding that
real estate is more than simply buying and selling properties, Caleb works to build
relationships with those with similar passions. This past summer, Caleb worked as
a Management Intern at Glenair in Glendale, California. Following graduation next
year, he plans to move to New York City and explore the opportunities present in a
booming real estate market.
