Document Assignments

Below are six document assignments for each student.  Early in the term, the assignments are about once a week; towards the end of the term they may be on consecutive days.  On a few occasions, they are due the same day as a paper assignment, so plan accordingly.  On the days indicated, the student is responsible for (1) writing and handing in a 6-7 sentence paragraph summarizing the document and indicating its significance for understanding the general topic for the day; and (2) when called upon by the instructor, the student will explain the document to the class.
