Club Info
Beginning by word of mouth in August of 1998, several people would approach the co-founding couple, Brian Oster & Aubrey Purdy as if they were "That Swing Guy/Girl." It was only time before the club organized a few other dancers and started practicing on Sundays in senior Alexis Didzerekis' front room. Within three months of the rumors, Augustana Swing Club was born.

The Martini Swingers
Although the name has changed, the Martini Swingers continue in the tradition of offering fun and exciting dance lessons to all Augustana students and faculty. The club travels around dancing at smaller venues at the beginning of the year. To end each school year, the Martini Swingers put on a dance showcase open to the public.
