History

In January of 1925, the Rho Nu Delta fraternity was established by 6 men of Augustana:

Mr. Glen V. Ahlstrand
Dr. Bertil G. Anderson (President)
Dr. Benton A. Holm
Mr. Herbert M. Johnson
Mr. Herman G. Nelson
Mr. Milton C. Selander

The fraternity was established with the purposes of promoting good fellowship, fostering high scholarship, increasing interest in higher education, and supporting the college in all of its activities. The fraternity strives to make its members good students and loyal boosters to Augustana. The original motto held by the fraternity was "For Augie First".

Rho Nu Delta was refounded in 1946, and then re-refounded on August 20, 2009. Bearing the sword as their symbol, the Roundels' wear the colors of red, silver, and white.
