Independent, International Film Series starts Aug. 27

The Office of Student Activities will present a free Independent and International Film Series throughout the academic year. The first film will be shown on Aug. 27.

Films have been chosen in conjunction with the classics and foreign language departments. All screenings begin at 7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays in the auditorium (lower level) of the Olin Center for Educational Technology.

The series includes 12 episodes of the British-American historical drama “Rome,” plus German, Japanese and French films. Some titles will be announced at a later date.
