Augustana College First Touch Elite Soccer Academy

Augustana College First Touch Elite Soccer Academy has successfully served the recreational, advanced and elite soccer player in the greater Midwest since 2002. The academy utilizes a unique curriculum that has often been imitated by the competition, but our academy proves year after year that our combination of personable and knowledgable staff, coupled with an innovative and progressive curriculum, provides for an exceptional instructional experience for all participants.

With three very distinct academy offerings any soccer player looking to develop their game and improve will find a suitable environment in which they will be challenged and guided to new technical and tactical abilities.

The pinnacle of the academy offerings is the Elite Overnight Academy experience. This residential program is designed to introduce the elite player to college soccer training and to assist in the development process through exposure to a variety of college coaches and training methods. This program is highly demanding and should be considered by only those wanting to prepare for their high school varsity team, or a college soccer program.

The Advanced Day Academy is new this year and is a natural progression from the Day Academy program we currently run. This program will teach only advanced, larger sided tactical topics. Technical development is still a point of emphasis, but technical functional training is the key element trained in this academy experience. This will result in better proficiency and understanding of executing technical skills as it relates to specific positions and tactical situations. This program is designed for the high school aged advanced soccer player.

The Day Academy is a wonderful program for youth players that are looking to learn new and innovative ways of training to improve their foundation of technical skills. This program most certainly challenges recreational players as well as advanced and elite youth players, while fostering a healthy development of passion and enjoyment for the sport of soccer. All participants, no matter their ability, are guaranteed to walk away with new ideas and concepts, as well as a big smile on their face!
