1. Substitution of Officers:

2. Introduction of Club:

Highlight of events: Christkindmarkt in Chicago

Possible partnership with the German Heritage Center in Davenport, IA,

Deutsch Klub will have a display board in the library winter term.

3. Introduction of Officers:

President: Sarah Nelson

Vote on when to hold meetings. Meetings are to be held every other Sunday, unless noted. Next meeting will be September 26th, 2004.

Vice President: Dan Lukens

Vote on whether or not to have an Oktoberfest Celebration. Deutsch Klub will hold an Oktoberfest grill-out at Lincoln Park on Sunday, October 10th 2004, provided that the club is able to rent the space out. Matt Buscemi volunteered to help out with the planning of the Oktoberfest grill-out.

Treasurer: Laura Anderson (substitued by Dan Lukens)

The club has no money and is unable to get money from OSA or the German Department. The club voted and decided on $5 dues for the fall term, and a bake sale for fundraising to be held later in the year in the College Center, if available.

Secretary: Esther Hicks (substituted by Sarah Nelson)

Vote to email minutes after each meeting or post online. Minutes are to be posted on the Deutsch Klub website following meetings.

German Club would like to have T-Shirts printed. Peter Eckardt volunteered to design and plan the T-Shirts.
