Minutes- 11/11/04

1.  BAKE SALE--we will be baking items to sell during finals week this Sunday at the German House.  Sarah will be there all day so come as late as midnight.  Her phone number is 794-7877 if you would like to call before you come.  The actual bake sale will be in the College Center next Monday-Thursday from 10am-3pm.  If you did not sign up for times at the meeting, please email Sarah with times you can be there!  Remember, the more money we make from this, the less we have to pay when we go to Chicago. 

2.  Caroling--Drs Vivian and Seidlitz will be teaching their German classes german carols, so we would like to schedule a caroling night in December.  It will be during the week in the evening.  We will definitely hit up President Bahls, and then probably carol at a nursing home.  After caroling, we are hoping to have an informal Christmas party at the German house featuring traditional german beverages. 

3.  Shameless Plug from The Secretary: The German-American Heritage Center is holding its Holiday Bell Choir & Zither Concert on December 4th (the Saturday after we return from break) at 2:00 at the Scott County Family Y in Davenport (660 West Second St.).  Your very own German Club Secretary is part of the GAHC Zither Ensemble and would love to see some support from the under-50 crowd!!
