About Us

The mission of Dance Marathon is to provide financial and emotional support through special projects to families served by The Children's Hospital of Iowa at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC), with an emphasis on the pediatric oncology unit.

The Augustana College Dance Marathon works in association with the Children's Miracle Network, an organization established to generate funds and awareness programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals.

Dance Marathon raises money through dancer pledges, corporate sponsorships and free-will donations. We have raised over $100,000 since the annual event began in 2001.

Dance Marathon is supported and organized by the Augustana Office of Student Activities.
