Comedy Clubs

PURPOSE:

To provide the Augustana community with an entertaining evening of comedy humor, with a wide variety of comedians.

WHAT MAKES THEM SO DIFFERENT:

The comedy committee focuses solely on providing entertainment and social development and does so in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

GOALS:

· To increase and retain audience attendance from show to show.
· To select a venue that is appropriate for the nature of the show and conducive for stimulating social interaction.
· To provide the Augustana community with better opportunities in building bonds and a true sense of community.
· To introduce new cultures and ideas through an informal and relaxing setting.

ON THAT NOTE…

The comedy club believes the ultimate goal is to get students to become more involved socially at Augustana, to meet new people, and ultimately build a stronger sense of community. Additionally, students are exposed to new cultural ideas through the diverse programming opportunities that they provide.
