Swedish American newspaper

Swedish American Newspapers Digitized Now online! Swedish American Newspapers is an online portal which allows users to explore more than 300,000 pages from 28 different Swedish American newspaper titles published across the United States between 1859 and 2007.

2016 Ander Lecture Will take place on October 22 at 7 pm on the campus of Augustana College. Dr. Adam Kaul will talk about tourism and clean energy and how that have impacted the small Swedish-American village Bishop Hill.

Location The Swenson Center is located in Denkmann Memorial Hall on Augustana College's campus in Rock Island, IL.


Hours Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-4:30pm. **Please make an appointment.** During the summer, the Center closes at 12:00pm on Fridays.
