Augustana College is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
Institutional Membership in AASHE provides many benefits for the Augustana Community, including access to technical papers, case studies, campus profiles, and best practices for sustainability efforts. To search the AASHE database, Augustana students, faculty and staff must set up an individual member account.
Individual Member Accounts
To create an account, go to create member account and complete the user profile using your campus email address. After you receive your password by email, go to the login page, enter your email address (username) and new password, and you will have access to all locked resources. Email email@example.com if you have any difficulty with this process.
AASHE members also now have access to the member-only resources of two sister organizations, Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) and the United Kingdom's Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC).
AASHE hosts and manages the comprehensive, self-administered Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) for all institutions of higher education in the U.S. and Canada. STARS is rapidly becoming the standard for measuring campus sustainability performance across the U.S. and Canada. Augustana is currently in the information-gathering stage of STARS reporting, and will use the STARS system to improve our sustainability efforts.
