Health Coverage

This plan is administered by UMR. Costs for the 2017-18 academic year is as follows:

Full-time Employees - Wellness

  • Single Coverage: $115 per month
  • Employee +1: $490 per month
  • Family: $665 per month

Full-time Employees - Non-Wellness

  • Single Coverage: $215 per month
  • Employee +1: $690 per month
  • Family: $865 per month
Full-time Employees - High Deductible Health Plan
  • Single Coverage: $70
  • Employee +1: $350
  • Family: $480

This per month cost is for full-time employees who are paid on a 12 month basis. Those employees who are paid on a 10-month basis will have slightly higher per month costs with the annual contribution remaining the same regardless of pay schedule.

Eligibility

Health insurance is offered to those employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30-hours per week on either a 9, 10, 11 or 12 month basis. Faculty members who teach 18 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
