Students on the Vietnam term will meet at Augustana for the first five weeks of winter term 2008-09. Because of Vietnam's Tet holiday, students will have a six-week Christmas break, leaving from Chicago at the end of January. We will return home the first week of March during the second week of the spring break. The overseas portion of the term will be about 32 days. The 2008-09 school year is the first under the new Augustana calendar with winter term classes meeting five weeks before Christmas break, a three-week Christmas break, and a two-week spring break.
