CORE offices are located in the Olin Center in the heart of campus, first and third floors.

Augustana’s CORE scores big with new graduates

New graduates who participated in Augustana's Viking Score program have a message for current students: Use it! The Viking Score helps students track their preparation for life after graduation. It's a simple checklist for each year of college, and each completed task earns points. Students can look at their point totals to see if they're on track.

CBS intern enjoys crazy week at John Deere Classic

Jake Norcia ’16 is a multimedia journalism/mass communication major. He shares some thoughts from his summer internship, at WHBF-TV, the Quad Cities’ CBS affiliate. Norcia has covered high school baseball and softball and the Quad Cities River Bandits minor league baseball team. But most recently, he covered the John Deere Classic PGA golf tournament just east of Rock Island in Silvis, Ill.

Dahl '92 named vice president at Brunswick

Brent Dahl '92 has been named vice president-audit at Brunswick Corporation. Before joining Brunswick in 2004, he worked for 10 years in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP, and is a CPA. The Brunswick Corporation has been involved in manufacturing a wide variety of products since 1845. Brunswick's global headquarters is in Lake Forest, Ill. At Augustana, Dahl majored in accounting, business and Asian studies.

Augustana to offer $150,000 to student entrepreneurs

There's no roadmap for entrepreneurs, but several new resources at Augustana, including $150,000 in donor-funded grants, will help students better transfer their college experiences to life as an entrepreneur.
