Newly renovated and expanded art history facilities found in the Bergendoff Hall of Fine Arts include:
- A professionally managed art museum and gallery with a regular schedule of changing exhibits.
- The Augustana College Art Collection which encompasses all the major periods of art and includes works by Dürer, Rembrandt, Renoir, Whistler and Picasso.
- The Alpha Vaky Wingard audio-visual classroom.
- The Paul A. Anderson seminar room.
- The Staelens Family slide library, a collection of more than 40,000 slides and photographs.
- The art history alumni garden.
- Two annual endowed art history lectures by nationally-and internationally renowned scholars.
- The Augustana Library, with one of the best collections among Midwest liberal arts college, with more than 8,000 art-related books, catalogues and periodicals.
