Center for Vocational Reflection (CVR)

CECCommunity Engagement Center

Well.... this is it.  This is the last note you'll get in the Newsletter from the CVR page.  Not from the CVR.  We'll talk a lot-as usual.  But we are going to change the CVR page to the CEC page in the Newsletter starting next week.  I hope you will ask, "What's the CEC?"  The CEC is the newly formed Community Engagement Center (see attached photo).  We have been talking about this for a number of months-and now it is done-mostly.  (Allen Bertsche still doesn't have a door on his office.... but we are getting closer!)  We are located on the first floor of Sorensen-the old Communications/Marketing space and the old, old Education space for those who have been around.  You'll be glad to know that the Starbucks machine made the move with us.  That means Coffee and Conversation (with free Starbucks for the first ten) continues on Wednesdays.  Stop over and see us.  We'll be having some open houses and will try to tempt you to come over to see our new quarters as we can find excuses this fall term.... or you can just stop by for a private tour.  We look forward to seeing you at the CEC!!!

Coffee and Conversation

Join your colleagues again on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the new CEC space at Sorensen for weekly Coffee and Conversation. Talk to your colleagues. Enjoy a hot cup of Starbucks coffee ($1.50 for a 12 oz. cup of coffee, FREE for the first 10 people). Indulge in a sweet treat. Stop by as you are able. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday.
