R. Stephen Warner is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a past president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion and the Association for the Sociology of Religion. Among his books are New Wine in Old Wineskins: Evangelicals and Liberals in a Small-Town Church (1989) and A Church of Our Own: Disestablishment and Diversity in American Religion (2005). His lecture at Augustana stems from his current theoretical writing, including a paper "Race and Religion: U.S. vs. Europe," a version of which appeared in the Nordic Journal of Religion and Society in 2008. Dr. Warner's lecture is free and open to the public.

2010 Augustana College Senior Studio Art Student Exhibition

Augustana College senior studio art majors present a cohesive body of their works. This process increases awareness of professional exhibition practices. Student presentations are supervised by Megan Quinn with assistance from Sherry Maurer and Eric Mathis. The fifteenth annual Alpha Vaky Wingard Art Award will be presented.
