20th Annual National Service-Learning Conference, Nashville, Tennessee

Josh Morgan, Matt Pelton, and Becca Poock attended the Three in Nashville
National Service-Learning Conference March 18-21.
After a long trip, they immersed themselves in a group of people focused on learning through engaging in our communities. Higher Education workshops focused on creating service-learning courses and shaping student leaders for service on-campus. Nashville proved to be a new and different community for the students and staff. They found themselves often at the Cumberland River and listening to various music styles on every corner. At the Country Music Hall of Fame, the State Farm Awards Ceremony reflected the passion and dedication many individuals and K-12 schools have in our country. This would spur the three of them to envision Augustana College representing in years to come!
